How to downgrade Firefox (3.6 to 3.5)?

Mozilla Firefox 3.6 has been out which offers extra speed, security, performance and supports most up-to-date technologies when compared with Firefox 3.5 or to former versions. At the same time this version possibly will disappoint a few Firefox users who upgraded from Firefox 3.5 to Firefox 3.6. The reason being some extensions and addons are not compatible with Firefox 3.6. The best solution though is to downgrade from 3.6 to 3.5.

Extensions adds supplementary features for the browsers. The extensions that worked in Firefox 3.5 might not be compatible with Firefox 3.6. Having upgraded to the latest version, is there a way to get back to latest stable version of Firefox 3.5.x or earlier? Yes. There is a simple way to downgrade the version. Just follow the procedures listed below, and you will be able to downgrade the version and enjoy all your previous extensions and addons.

Downgrade from Firefox 3.6 to Firefox 3.5 or earlier versions

1. Visit Mozilla FTP Server.

2. Select the latest stable version for Firefox 3.5,(presently Firefox 3.5.7)

3.Choose Win32 folder and choose language,en-US is for English.

4. Select Firefox setup file, download and install it.

Firefox 3.6 will be automatically downgraded to the latest stable version of Firefox 3.5.
