Windows 7 Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts for Window Management
Windows 7 has many features for the user’s convenient. Windows management shortcuts are also one of such kind of features. You can snap window to the side of the screen, maximize and minimize the window by using shortcut keys and mouse.
Keyboard Shortcuts for Window Management:
Win+Up arrow – Maximizes the Active Window.
Win+Down arrow – Minimizes the Active window or Restores the maximized window.
Shift+Win+Up arrow – Maximize the active window vertically.
Shift+Win+Down arrow – Restores the active window if it is maximized vertically else it will Minimize the active window.
Win+Left/Right arrows – Dock the window to each side of the monitor.
Shift+Win+Left/Right arrows – Move the window to the monitor on the left or right.
Win+Home – Minimizes all window except the active window.
Win+Space – Makes All windows transparent or Makes the see through desktop.
Mouse Shortcuts for Window Management:
Shake window back/forth – Minimizes everything except the current window.
Drag the window to the top – Maximizes the Window
Drag the window to the left/right side – Docks the window to fill half of the screen.
Double-Click Top Window Border (edge) – Maximizes Window Vertically.
